The Pittsburgh Lock revolutionized the HVAC Industry in the late 1930’s and is still used today for its strength and ease in assembling ductwork. The Engel 800 Series Pittsburgh Lock Roll Formers have eight (8) forming stations with two (2) forming positions. The industrial grade Engel 800 Series Slip and Drive Roll Former is built to last longer, perform quieter, and deliver the highest levels of quality and value. This innovative design from Engel comes standard with extended roll shafts for mounting auxiliary rolls, one side outboard only. The “S” and drive cleat roll set is also included inboard and there are no opening rolls required. The unit also features eight (8) stations, 2″ vertical centers, 5″ horizontal centers, and polished 1″ spindles.

Engel Transverse Duct Flange (TDF) Roll Formers allow you to roll form your own sealable flanges on transverse duct joints during the fabrication process eliminating the need for add-on flange. Our TDF roll formers produce flange on the machine’s left-hand auxiliary and have unique, snap-in corners that eliminate spot welding. Optional rolls are also available for Z-Bar and Clip. Engel’s line-up of TDF Roll Formers include:
Model HB-1640: uses 16 roll-forming stations with a capacity of 18 to 26 ga. at speeds of 75 feet per minute
Model TDF: uses 16 forming stations with a capacity of 18 to 26 ga. at speeds of 50-60 feet per minute.

Engel Button Punch Snap Lock Roll Formers form a two piece seam that greatly simplifies ductwork assembly. The male seam is a button, the female seam is a lock and the two snap together for a flush corner. These machines are available in eight forming station machines. Not only do these locks assemble twice as fast as traditional methods, but because the two pieces nest, they are easier to transport too. Available models:
