Equidur Tooling

The Wila Equidur tooling is manufactured to the most stringent tolerances in any industry, -.0004".  Four ten-thousandths on all surface dimensions from a special chrome-molybdenum alloy manufactured from specifications mandated by the Wila engineers.  After the precision ground process and quality control, the tooling is laser hardened at all wear points to =/- 58 RC.  Wila has pioneered the laser hardening technique to new levels of tooling.  This special hardening assures our customers years of dependable bending with a minimum of wear.
