Finding a skilled press brake operator can be a tough challenge for many fabricators. Most companies are left hiring an inexperienced person and training from within. Press Brake training has typically been passed on from operator to operator. That type of training can lead to a "that’s the way we’ve always done it" mentality. By no fault of their own, operators are sometimes left without the skills and knowledge to take on more difficult challenges or come up with new ideas.

Hundreds of operators, engineers, and owners have attended our Press Brake Forming Fundamentals class. This is a two day course covering everything there is to know about forming, regardless of the press brake you are using. This course teaches proper forming techniques, simple to use formulas, covers all of the many different tooling options, and is meant to inspire new ideas. Our mix of classroom followed up with forming demonstrations has been a very popular approach to retaining what is being taught. This class is good for new operators, experienced operators, engineers, and owners. Reviews of this class have been overwhelmingly positive.

"Thanks again for the training. Your class was very informational and will assist me with daily work functions. I enjoyed the way that you had the class set-up, going over formulas in the lecture and then going out and running the machine and actually seeing the results of what we just discussed. I already have a few parts that we are air bending and are having some leg length issues, I believe that the air bend radius formula will be put to good use."  Thad Lindstrom, Sheet Metal Engineer, John Deere Harvester Works

"As a Plant Manager newer to metal fabrication, I found the Forming Fundamentals course at Gladwin Machinery to be an outstanding resource. The class was direct and allowed people of all skill levels to learn and grow"Bill Gochanour, Plant Manager

"We felt the class was very worthwhile. We found the formulas for figuring different applications to be very beneficial. We also enjoyed seeing all of the tooling options and latest technologies, such as the offline programming and gauging demonstrated. We will definitely be sending more people this spring." Thanks, Steve and Kerry Cottle, Distefano Tool and Manufacturing, Nebraska
